Prawns Fry

Prawns Fry

Ingredients:

1/2 kg prawns
3 onions
6 green chillies
6 garlic flakes
Small ginger piece
4 cardamoms
4 cloves
4 small cinnamom sticks
2 tsp coriander seeds
2 tsp poppy seeds
Small coconut piece
Salt, chilli powder and turmeric as required
Few coriander leaves and mint leaves
8 tsp oil

Instructions:

1. Wash prawns and add Salt, chilli powder, turmeric and water and cook untill water is gone.

2. Chop green chillies and onions.

3. Grind ginger and garlic to fine paste.

4. Grind coriander seeds, poppy seeds and coconut piece to paste.

5. Grind cinnamon, cardamom and cloves to fine powder.

6. Heat oil in a pan and add green chillies and onions and fry them until brown and then
   add ginger-garlic paste, fry and add prawns and fry them again.

7. Add paste from step 4 and some water and cook for few minutes.

8. Add chilli powder as required and cover with lid and cook until water is gone.

9. Add masala powder, stir well and add coriander and mint leaves and remove from heat.
